On February 8th 2012 the first meeting of ChemProtools was held in Antwerp. Apart from the 16 present scientific team members, 8 companies were represented. Once again was stated that the major aim of the ChemProTools project is the formation of an unique and generic platform around the chemical probe technology. Currently more than 15 scientists are working within ChemProTools and they have a multidisciplinary background in medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, proteomics and analytics.
ChemProTools will create an environment where passion, responsibility, flexibility and open communication are of upmost importance. Every team member is encouraged to come up with new and innovative ideas to bring the technology to the next level.
